Abstract

Adolescents who are in transition period experience unstable emotions. They experience a difficulty or problem that will cause anxiety and stress. In overcoming this situation intelligence is not only required but adolescents also necessary to have the power struggle in responding the problems with perseverance and confidence, with high religious convictions it is in line with high power struggle. This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and power struggle on adolescent at PSBR Pekanbaru. The study involved 70 people using saturated sample techniques and data collection techniques using 2 scales, religiosity and power struggle scale. Data analysis method uses product moment correlation analysis with a correlation value (r = 0.549. p = 0,000; p <0.01). This shows that there is a positive correlation between religiosity and power struggle in adolescents at PSBR Pekanbaru. Therefore, the higher the religiosity the higher the fighting power, on the contrary the lower the religiosity the lower the fighting power will be.
