Abstract
Thus higher turnover of KJSKB employees indicated low commitment of employees. Employees who are highly committed will always be passionate about work, while employees who have low commitment will be lazy, the absentee level will be high. Additional behavior beyond job descriptions in organizations is referred to as citizenship behavior in organizations where employees who are committed will be able to make a positive contribution to organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee work commitment at the KJSKB companies. The subjects of this study were 84 employees with total sampling techniques. Data collection used scale, then the data obtained are analyzed using correlation product moment Pearson analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and employee work commitment. The higher of the organizational citizenship behavior of employees, it will increased their work commitment, the lower of employee organizational citizenship behavior, it will decreased their work commitment. The effective contribution of organizational citizen behavior on employee commitment was 20,5%.
