Abstract
Commitment as a psychological state that characterizes employee relations with an organization which has implications for the decision to continue or stop membership in the organization. Therefore organizational culture must be increased so that employee commitment also increases. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and work commitment to employees. The subjects of this study were the employees of the PT. Indah Kiat as many as 127 subjects. The subject taking technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the organizational culture scale and work commitment scale. The analysis used in this study is product moment correlation. The results of the statistical analysis showed a value of r = 0,000 with Sig-0.775 ** (p <0.05), meaning that there was a significant relationship between organizational culture and work commitment to employees. Organizational culture makes an effective contribution of 60% to work commitments. The remaining 40% is influenced by other factors, so the higher the organizational culture, the higher the work commitment and vice versa.
