Abstract
Clothing is a primary human need. The high level of consumer demand for clothing orders has caused many convection businesses to be established as businesses that offer services for making clothes, jackets, alma mater, uniforms and others. Competition between these convection businesses is influenced by differences in the quality of the products offered. This study aims to determine and explain product quality at Convection Ranger in Bangkinang City. Product quality is measured based on Tciptono's theory which consists of product performance, features, reliability, compliance with specifications, durability, service, aesthetics and perception of quality. The results of the study concluded that overall product quality at the Bangkinang City Convection Ranger obtaining a percentage of 60% was quite good. The indicators that are still low are features, service and aesthetics. Features are not optimal, because the fabric used is thick like convection in general and the combination of fabrics provided by the convection ranger is almost the same as other convection. Service is still not optimal, because there are still many consumer orders that are not completed on time. Aesthetics are still not optimal, because the available color choices for fabrics are limited, so sometimes the designs and color choices from consumers have to be adjusted again to the stock availability of existing color choices.
