Abstract

Every job must have its own problems or obstacles, which make employees voice their opinions to each other according to how they feel. Employee voice or employee voice is a form of communication between subordinates and superiors in the form of ideas, suggestions or input, actions, attention so that employees and superiors can know each other and contribute to the development or decline of a company or organization. Servant leadership is expected to influence the employee voice itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of servant leadership on employee voice at the Bumiputera AJB (Joint Life Insurance) company in Riau. The scale used is the servant leadership scale and the employee voice scale. The population of this research is AJB Bumiputera employees in Riau with a total of 62 employees. The number of samples is 62 employees with a sampling technique based on the total population. The results of the analysis tests carried out showed that there was a significant influence between servant leadership on employee voice at the AJB Bumiputera company in Riau in a positive direction, the higher the servant leadership, the higher the employee voice. the value of the contribution given is R Square of 0.457 or the same meaning as 45.7%. The effective contribution of the servant leadership variable to employee voice is 45.7% and the remaining 54.3% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.
