Abstract

Muslims who hijrah will experience many trials causing low subjective well being which is bad. One of the factors that influence the increase in subjective well being is the use of Islamic positive religious coping. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Islamic positive religious coping on subjective well-being among Muslims who hijrah to Pekanbaru. The research subjects totaled 323 people. The sampling technique used is snowball sampling. The data collection method used the 7 aitem Psychology Measure Of Islamic Religiousness (PMIR) scale, the 5 aitem satisfaction with life scale and the 20 aitem positive and negative affect scale. Data were analyzed using SEM using Partial Least Square (PLS) with smartPLS 3.0 M3 software. The results of this study that positive religious religious coping has a positive influence on subjective well being with a path coefficient value of 0.509 with a p value of 0.000 greater than 0.05 and a t-value of 9.446. This means that the higher the Islamic positive religious coping, the higher the subjective well being of Muslims who hijrah to Pekanbaru.
