Abstract
This research was motivated by students’ learning motivation problem in Islamic education lesson at Islamic-Integrated Junior High School Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose in this research examined to know the relationship between cooperative learning model jigsaw type with stduents’ learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at Islamic-Integrated Junior High School Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. This research involved all population and sample in 79 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis used normality test, descriptive test, and product-moment correlation test. Research finding in product-moment correlation test with significant score 0.000 < 0.05 could be meant that there was any relationship between cooperative learning model jigsaw type with stduents’ learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at Islamic-Integrated Junior High School Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. The relationship category was moderate (0.549 or 54.9%). It could be concluded from research finding that there was any relationship between cooperative learning model jigsaw type with stduents’ learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at Islamic-Integrated Junior High School Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru.
