Abstract

This study aims to measure to find out how interpersonal communication and interpersonal communication barriers for health workers at UPT Mandah Health Center during physical distancing. Based on a survey conducted, the COVID-19 pandemic requires Health Workers and visitors to the Mandah Health Center UPT to keep their distance and use masks when interacting so that visitors to the Mandah Health Center UPT are less clear in receiving information from health workers. In this study, researchers used field research that directly went to research into the research location. The data analysis model used in this study is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach, namely to understand the phenomena of what is experienced by the research subject, for example behavior, perception, motivation, action holistically and with descriptions in the form of words and language, at a time. special contexts that are natural and by utilizing natural methods. The results showed that the application of interpersonal communication at the Mandah Health Center was in accordance with service standards during the Covid-19 pandemic that had to be applied by doctors and nurses and at the puskesmas. The head of this puskesmas also always evaluates service standards and also provides training to nurses in improving services to patients to find out how interpersonal communication and interpersonal communication barriers for health workers at UPT Puskesmas Mandah are during physical distancing.
