Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the learning discipline of class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Bangko, (2) learning outcomes for Biology students in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bangko, and (3) the relationship between learning disciplines and learning outcomes for Biology students in class XI MIPA. XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bangko. This research is a quantitative research using a correlational approach. The population of this research is the students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bangko which consists of 5 classes. The sample of this study amounted to 110 students. 60% of each class was sampled, namely 110 students. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used Pearson product moment (PPM) correlation analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the average value of student learning discipline in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bangko is 79.69% with a good category, (2) the average Biology learning outcomes of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bangko is 83.75% in the high category, and (3) between variable X (Learning Discipline) and variable Y (Learning Outcomes) there is a correlation with the medium category and correlation index (r_xy) of 0.50 % and the contribution of learning discipline to Biology learning outcomes is 24.5%. This is also evidenced by the value of t_count than the value of t_table or 5,92> 1.66, which means H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted, and a significant value of 0.000 which is smaller than the value of (5%) or 0.000 <0,05 This means that there is a significant relationship between learning discipline and Biology learning outcomes for students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bangko for the Academic Year 2021/2022.
