Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113, Km. 11 Aircold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 3 months from December 2020 to February 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the main interactions between POC Stem Banana and NPK Phonska on the Growth and Yield of Shallot Plants (Allium ascalonicum L.). The design used was a factorial complete randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the application of POC Batang Pisang (B) which consisted of 4 levels namely 0, 150, 300 and 450 cc per liter of water and the second factor was the dose of NPK Phonska (P) with 4 levels namely 0, 15, 30 and 45 g per plot, so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications so that there were 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were: plant height, age at emergence of tubers, age at harvest, number of tubers per clump, fresh tuber weight per clump, dry tuber weight per clump and tuber weight loss. Observational data from each treatment were analyzed statistically and continued with a follow-up test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of POC Batang Pisang and NPK Phonska had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was a combination of POC Batang Pisang 450 cc/l water and NPK Phonska 45 g/plot. The main effect of Batang Pisang POC is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is the concentration of 450 cc/l of water. The main effect of Phonska NPK fertilizer was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment with a dose of 45 g/plot.
