Abstract
This study conducted to determine the relationship between classroom's environment and motivation in IPA class VIII SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018. The amount of the population is 211 people which is consisting of six classes, namely VIII1, VIII2, VIII3, VIII4, VIII5, dan VIII6. The study was a correlational and data correlation using observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data were analysis using Person Product Moment correlation techniques. From the research, obtained the correlation between variables classroom environment (X) and variables motivation to learning IPA (Y) of 0,41 % based on the category of being and contriution of the classroom environment to learning motivation is 16,89%. Based on the result of t-test analysis found that of thitung (6,5) >ttabel (1,652) then Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between classroom environment and learning motivation in IPA class VIII students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru Academic Year of 2017/2018.
