Abstract

This research is motivated by the rise of gambling cases in Kandis District under the guise of children's games. In general, gambling is a form of game using bets that are chancy, to get a win. Now starting to bloom gambling using children's game media, which is used in this gambling is a fish table (gelper). This gambling has become very disturbing in Kandis District, where initially this game was only a game played by children, instead it was turned into a business field by irresponsible people. For those who do not know this gambling activity, they will assume that it is an ordinary children's game. The main problem in this study is how gambling is packaged in the form of children's games. This study also aims to describe how gambling is packaged in the form of children's games. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with key informants and informants. The results of this study indicate that there are innovations made by players and actors (owners) by making this game a gambling arena. The innovation of gamblers in this gambling earns money quickly, faster than other gambling games, while the innovation of the actor (owner) in this gambling is due to the existence of this game business, the owner gains material benefits. He earns income (money) not through legal means.
