Abstract

The background of this research is the observation on Paliko All Star Pekanbaru players. In the observation, there were several problems that became the background of this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eye-foot coordination on the passing and stopping abilities of Paliko All Star Pekanbaru Football Players. Population is the subject of research. The population of this study were 20 Paliko All Star players. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling and the number of samples was 20 people. There are 2 research instruments that the researchers used, namely the eye and foot coordination test and the soccer short pass test. The results of the calculations carried out obtained a correlation index of 0.604. the value is in the range between 0.40 - 0.70 with sufficient correlation category. The value of r table is 0.444. thus the comparison results obtained 0.604 > 0.444. The results of the calculation of the t value found that the value of t count = 3.32. while the value of t table on is 2.10. Because the value of t count > t table, the hypothesis is accepted or true. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that there is a relationship between eye and foot coordination on football short passes on Paliko All Star Pekanbaru players. value of r count > r table or 0.604 > 0.444. value of t count = 3.22> t table 2.10.
