Abstract

The quality of life of a mother is very influential for the life of a family. A housewife is the main occupation of a woman who is married and has children, but does not rule out the possibility of women having a dual role as career women and housewives. Several factors underlie the addition of this role, namely economic problems, motivation from husbands, self-actualization, and for career development. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of life of mothers who work as female police officers. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with data collection techniques namely interviews and observation. The subject of this research is a wife and mother who works as a female police officer. Based on the results of the research, it is illustrated that the three subjects in this study have a good quality of life, where they are good at managing time, have good relationships with other people, have good health conditions, are independent, are able to solve problems, have a good economy, and are able to maintain feelings emotional.
