Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine student perceptions of remedial learning in class X economic subjects in Tanah Putih 1 Public High School 2018/2019. This research was conducted in Tanah Putih 1 Public High School in March 2019, the subject of this study was an economic teacher and the X grade students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Tanah Putih 1 Public High School as many as 42 people. Data collection in this study used questionnaires and interviews. This questionnaire consists of: 1) Retesting, 2) giving additional assignments, 3) Re-learning, 4) Self-study, 5) Group learning with teacher guidance, 6) Learning groups with peer guidance. This questionnaire consists of 36 statements and students answer the retest form which consists of 7 statements. Based on the descriptive analysis of the retest of student perceptions of remedial learning on economic subjects who answered strongly agreed 138 respondents, agreed 84 respondents, 37 respondents disagreed, did not agree 34 respondents. Based on the above, it was concluded that the average score about retesting was 1.37 in the very low category.
