Abstract

The development of the need for information about culture that makes a cultural program is a necessity owned by a television station. Riau Television is present with an event program called "Dendang Ocu Kampar" to fulfill the cultural information needs of the Riau people since 2002 when the ocu kampar program was held in Riau television. Judging from its immediate and mass nature, it is necessary to do a production process, so that the programs delivered are broadcast and desirable for viewers. Based on the description above, the author feels interested in conducting research with the title "Production Process Analysis" Dendang Ocu Kampar "Program in Riau Television Pekanbaru. The problem is how the production process of the program "Dendang Ocu Kampar" in Riau television Pekanbaru and whether the process is in accordance with good Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the production process of the Dendang Ocu Kampar program. The process was examined using observation data collection techniques, in-depth interviews (depth interviews), and documentation, then the data obtained were analyzed by qualitative descriptive methods. This research was conducted in Riau Television (Rtv) road H.R Soebrantas Km 10.5 Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The results of this study can be concluded that Riau television is in the production process of the ocu kampar program, through several stages including pre-production stages, production stages and post-production stages, and the process is in accordance with good Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).
