Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of learning methods problem solving (problem solving) with TPS (think pair share) to economic learning outcomes in the IIS XI class at Pekanbaru State High School 13. Research One class was taken as many as 27 students in the experimental class or class XI IIS 2, and another class as many as 29 students in the class control or class XI IIS 1. The experimental class uses the solving method problem (problem solving) with TPS (think pair share, and control class use the lecture method. This research is a quasi experiment (quasi experiment), analysis of prerequisite testing using the normality test, and test homogeneity, while hypothesis testing uses the t test (independent t-test). The results of this study use the results of the t test (independent t-test) which is 0.03 more small than 0.05 which indicates that there is an influence of the learning method problem solving (problem solving) with TPS (think pair share) to economic learning outcomes in the IIS XI class at Pekanbaru State High School 13.
