Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the synectic method on the results of learning class X economic lessons at Pekanbaru YLPI High School. The population in this study was the tenth grade students of Pekanbaru YLPI High School consisting of 4 classes. Sampling using purposive sampling. The samples in this study were the experimental class and the control class. Where, class X IPS 1 as an experimental class consisted of 29 students and class X IPS 2 as a control class consisting of 30 students. The material taught is about the market, while to see the economic learning outcomes of students by using the student question sheet with the posttest that is by posttest, that is, an average of 76.5 in the experimental class in the control class 61.1. The value obtained from the homogeneity test is the result of 0.64 <0.05. And from the independent hail test the T-test sample was obtained 0.239 <0.05 so Hâ‚’ was rejected Hâ‚ was accepted. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the synectic model on student economic learning outcomes.
