Abstract

The @kulinerpku Instagram account is one of the culinary themed accounts which aims to provide a review of food in Pekanbaru as reference destination for eating around the city of Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for measure how much influence the @kulinerpku Instagram account has on interest culinary tourism followers. The @kulinerpku Instagram account was chosen, because they have the most followers among the accounts that present around culinary in the city of Pekanbaru. While the respondents was chosen from followers of @kulinerpku Instagram account its own. This study uses the theory of S-R (stimulusresponse) which explains that communication as a process of action- from very simple reaction. The S-R theory assumes that verbal words and nonverbal is good in action, the image will stimulate others to give a response in a certain way. the method they used in the study is a quantitative method by give a questionnaires to followers from the @kulinerpku Instagram account. With a sample size of 100 account followers the @kulinerpku instgaram. Research shows from the results of the t test obtained by the value of t count for the @kulinerpku Instagram account variable is 10.476 (greater than t table) amounting to 1,984), and P Value of 0,000 & lt; 0.05,) the results of this study indicate that the @kulinerpku Instagram Account has a significant effect on Travel Interest Culinary Followers.
