Abstract

Directive utterances are utterances that cause several effects through the actions of the listener, for example, command, ask, request, request, suggest, order. Directive speech acts are forms of speech acts intended by the speaker to influence the speech partner to take certain actions. This study aims to examine the utterances of the Directive in the Spoken Language of the Community of Tanjung Village, Koto Kampar Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The language of the people of Tanjung which is a unifier between communities in everyday interactions. The research entitled "Directive Speech in the Spoken Language of the Community of Tanjung Village, Koto Kampar Hulu District, Kampar Regency" aims to collect data and information about directive speech in the spoken language commonly used by the Tanjung village community. For this purpose, what can be explained is the way the people of Tanjung village interact easily and can understand each other, especially in this study regarding directive utterances in the village of Tanjung. While this research uses descriptive method. The purpose of research using descriptive methods is to make a description, a systematic and objective description of the facts and the relationship between existing elements or a particular phenomenon. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques, record, record. The results of this study based on the analysis of research user data on directive utterances of the spoken language of the Tanjung Village Community, Koto Kampar Hulu District, Kampar Regency have been analyzed to find 67 speech data containing directive utterances.
