Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of motivation towards achievement student learning. Important motivation in learning because it becomes one factors that cause a person to learn. In learning activities, motivation can said as the overall driving force within the student lead to learning activities, which ensure the continuity of activities learning and giving direction to learning activities. So that can be said that students who do not have the motivation to learn, it will not happen learning activities in these students. The low motivation of student learning will inhibits the achievement of educational goals and is a threat to the progress of the nation that must be handled appropriately. Symptoms in this study many students did homework at school, students quickly discouraged in the face of difficulties, students are not passionate about following lessons, students are not active in learning, students cannot answer questions given by the teacher and many students obtain value that does not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Formulation the problem in this study is how the relationship with motivation Learning Achievement of Class XI MA Al Khairat Pangkalan Lesung Students. This research aims to determine the relationship between motivation and learning achievement of class students XI MA Al Khairat Pangkalan Lesung. Subjects used in research this is all students of class XI MA Al Khairat Pangkalan Lesung. Population this research is the number XI MA Al Khairat Pangkalan Lesung students 50 students and all populations were taken as a sample of 50 students. This study consisted of two variables, namely variable X (learning motivation) and variable Y (learning achievement). Data correlation analysis method used in this study product Moment correlation. Based on the results of processing the result data is a probability value of 0.004 <0.05 so Ho is rejected. Level motivational relationship to the learning achievements of MA Al-Khairat Pangkalan students Dimples of 0.396. According to the interpretation of the correlation coefficient the value of 0.396 is located at intervals with a low level of relationship criteria. So, it can be taken the conclusion that there is a significant relationship between motivation to learn on the learning achievements of class XI students at MA Al-Khairat Pangkalan Lesung.
