Abstract

E-modules are needed in a development for students to better understand the provision of teaching materials by teachers. The purpose of this study is to develop an e- module based on character values and to determine the validity of the e-module based on character values. This research is research and development with the ADDIE model which is limited to the development stage. The validators of this study were 2 people on the material aspect, 2 people on the design aspect and 2 people on the language aspect. Methods of collecting data in research by means of interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the development of e-modules based on character values begin with the needs analysis stage, curriculum and materials, product design, and the validity process to the validator. Based on the validation results, the e-module based on character values in learning theme 2 sub-theme 2 class V at SDN 177 Pekanbaru has met the criteria in terms of design aspects 88%, material aspects 94% and language aspects 92% and the average overall validity value is 91% and very valid to use. Research advice is the need for the application of E- modules in order to find out how effective and practical they are in use during learning.
