Abstract

This accounting research was carried out in Tapung District as many as 27 daily shop entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, the problem studied in this study is whether the accounting application applied by daily shop entrepreneurs in Tapung District is in accordance with the basic accounting concepts.The purpose of this research is to find out the suitability of accounting treatment for daily shop businesses in Tapung District that is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected in this research are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques in the form of structured interviews, documentation, and observation. Furthermore, the data that has been collected is grouped according to its type.Based on the research that has been carried out and the discussion, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the daily shop business in Tapung District is not in accordance with the basic concepts and accounting principles currently in effect.
