Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the effect of interaction and main POC Biogan and superior plant hormones on the growth and yield of red okra plants. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, from March to June 2021. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is POC biogan consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 4, 8, 12 cc/l water. While the second factor is superior plant hormone which consists of 4 levels, namely without superior plant hormone, concentrations of 3, 6, 9 cc/l of water, in order to obtain 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination consisted of 3 replications, so that 48 experimental units (plots) were obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, longest fruit length and number of remaining fruits. Observational data were statistically analyzed and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of POC Biogan and superior plant hormones affected the parameters, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, the best treatment was B2H3. The main effect of POC biogan is real on all observation parameters, the best treatment is the concentration of 8 cc/l water. The main effect of superior plant hormone was significantly on all observation parameters, the best treatment was superior plant hormone with a concentration of 9 cc/l of water.
