Abstract

The study was carried out in the experimental garden of the Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru, for 3 months from March to May 2022. This study aimed to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of dolomite lime and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of shallots on the media. peat. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of dolomite lime with 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 6,12 and 18 grams per polybag and the second factor is the dose of NPK 16:16:16 consisting of 4 treatment levels 0, 0, 8, 1,6, and 2, 4 grams per polybag. Parameters observed were plant height, harvest age, number of tubers per clump, tuber diameter, tuber wet weight per clump, dry weight per clump, dry tuber weight per tuber, tuber weight loss. Observational data were analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of dolomite lime and NPK 16:16:16 significantly affected all parameters with the best combination of 18 grams of dolomite lime per polybag and 16:16:16 NPK of 2.4 grams per polybag. The main effect of dolomite lime was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was 18 grams per polybag. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment at a dose of 2.4 grams per polybag.
