Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know the teacher’s perception on online learning at elementary school plus Anshor Al-Sunnah, Air Tiris, Kampar Regency. This research was a qualitative research with focused interviews type. The subject in this research was classroom teachers. Data collection technique used interview. Online learning was an abbreviation from online learning that meant that a learning could be implemented by using internet or did not used face-to-face meeting. This research finding explained that teacher’s perception on online learning implementation, such as: 1. Following government instruction by using far interaction learning. 2. Task presentation used WhatsApp group as connecting media between teacher, students and parents. Lesson material that was given as follows: 1. giving simple material and did not give hard task. 2. Doing changing academic material continuously and shalat habitual, short surah memorizing, and so on. 3. Decrease lesson hours. Evaluation system as follows: 1. Using online system. 2. Doing cooperation with parents, and it hoped that parents gave cooperation in guiding children in learning or doing task from teacher. The obstacles happened such as: technology usage mastery, internet package high usage that made parents worried, parents did not aware their role to their children, not all students had private smartphone, it meant that they used parents smartphone and the last way for teacher in giving material. The solution in facing the obstacles such as: 1. Giving extra time to collect the task. 2. Giving internet package donation. 3. for students who did not have smartphone should ask for their friends that had smartphone. 4. Doing home visit to inactive students. 5. Making offline meeting in groups at one of students’ house in twice a week.
