Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of biofertilizer Bionensis and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth of oil palm seedlings on peat soil. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out for 4 months from February to May 2022. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, the first factor was the biofertilizer Bionensis which was 0.3, 6, 9 g/seedling and the second factor was NPK fertilizer. 16:16:16 ie 0, 5, 10, 15 g/seed. Parameters observed were seedling height, number of leaf midribs, longest leaf midrib length, stem diameter, number of primary roots and root volume. The data were statistically analyzed and further tested by BNJ at 5% level. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the interaction of giving biofertilizer Bionensis and NPK 16:16:16 was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment combination of biofertilizer Bionensis 9 g/seed and NPK 16:16:16 10 g/seed. The main effect of the treatment of biofertilizer Bionensis was significant on all observed parameters, with the best treatment being 9 g/seedling. The main effect of 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer treatment was significant on all observed parameters, with the best treatment being 10 g/seedling.
