Abstract

This thesis discusses the Criminological Review of the Criminal Act of Buying and Selling Fraud in pompong boats. Which in real life is very rife due to the lack of security and supervision carried out by the authorities so that many become victims of criminal acts of buying and selling fraud, and supported by the ease of committing online buying and selling crimes with various existing modes. The main problem in this study is what are the factors that cause the criminal act of buying and selling pompong fraud and how are the countermeasures carried out by law enforcement officials against the crime of fraud buying and selling pompong boats. Writing this thesis using juridical and sociological research methods, namely research conducted by tracing and analyzing directly. Does positive law apply in society The results of this study show that the factors that led to the occurrence of the Criminal Act of Selling Fraud were influenced by various factors including economic factors, environmental factors, socio-cultural factors, and educational factors. Efforts that can be made in overcoming the Criminal Act of Buying and Selling Fraud are divided into two, namely preventive or preventive efforts and repressive or enforcement efforts. Preventive efforts include carrying out outreach activities, increasing supervision of product sales, and providing appeals through the media. Repressive efforts in the form of efforts to take action and apply punishment to the perpetrators as well as efforts to foster them by correctional institutions.
