Abstract

The series of activities in the execution of village physical development consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising activities. The existence of obstacles in the physical development of the village can be seen that there is physical development that has not been realized. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find out how the execution of physical development is carried out by the Village Government and to determine the obstacle factors in the execution of Physical Development in 2020 in Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. In accordance with the problem, this research is a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted in Tanah Merah Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Data collection techniques are conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the execution of development carried out by the village government is still not running optimally. This can be determined by the four indicators, namely Planning, Organizing, Implementation, and Supervision, namely the lack of village development funds in the physical development of the village, and also the lack of the village government in involving the Tanah Merah community in actively participating in the development of the Tanah Merah village, this is evidenced with an invitation made by the village government is not comprehensive..
