Abstract
This research was conducted at the office of the ministry of religion in the city of Pekanbaru, while the purpose of the study was to determine the effect of communication on the effectiveness of the performance of the employees of the office of the ministry of religion in the city of Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all employees in the office of the ministry of religion in the city of Pekanbaru, with a sample of 47 respondents using the slovin formula. This study uses primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis. Communication is closely related to the effectiveness of employee performance and the results of the study show that partially (t test) communication has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of the performance of the employees of the Pekanbaru City Ministry of Religion, which means that the hypothesis is accepted in this study.
