Abstract

Supervision of heavy loaded trucks that aims to maintain road cleanliness, as well as public road safety and security. Supervision is carried out on the fulfillment of the obligations of license holders/users of heavy trucks in accordance with the provisions of regional regulations related to the use of public roads. However, in the implementation of supervision, there are still trucks that violate the obligation to use roads or overcrowded trucks or heavy-loaded trucks that violate the provisions of the U to measure the monitoring of the weight of truck-loaded vehicles, there must be a standard of supervision work, further action on the assessment of the results achieved and corrective actions if they deviate from standard (defined conditions). This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the monitoring of heavy trucks has not been carried out optimally. Where the assessment action has not achieved results in accordance with the objectives and arrangements for the use of road responsibilities, such as the presence of heavy-loaded truck vehicles that violate the road lane, vehicles that do not use tarpaulins, and road users' obligations to heavy trucks, repairs by applying sanctions for truck users The weight has not been firmly implemented, the sanctions given are in the form of warnings and fines, while the excessive loading and unloading has not been implemented.
