Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze consumer behavior in borrowing at the Savings and Loans Village Economic Enterprise (UED-SP) Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. The population in this study were consumers who borrowed from the Savings and Loans Village Economic Enterprise (UED-SP) from 2021. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling and the slovin formula, namely 62 people. The data collection technique in this study used interview techniques, questionnaire (questionnaire) and observation. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis. Consumer behavior in borrowing from UED-SP in Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency has been going well. From the results of the recapitulation of respondents' answers, it shows that the factors of consumer behavior in borrowing at UED-SP in Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency are cultural factors, social factors, psychological factors and personal factors. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the highest score is in the category of cultural factors, with indicators that consumers have confidence in borrowing from UED-SP and consumers assess that loan products at UED-SP can help their needs and consumers are used to hearing about savings and loan products at UED-SP. SP in Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. In this study, the lowest score was in the category of personal factor variables with indicators of consumers making loans because of the age factor and consumers making loans for work and consumers making loans because of the economic situation.
