Abstract

Disaster management is an effort that includes prevention, handling of emergencies, rehabilitation, and disaster reconstruction. This study aims to determine the governance of landslide disaster management by the Regional Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method, which means describing the actual situation or what actually happened. The informant withdrawal technique used is a purposive sampling technique, which is a method of determining the informants determined on the basis of certain criteria or considerations. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are Landslide Disaster Management Governance by the Regional Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency in the accountability indicator, which is not good, then in the Transparency indicator, which is quite good, then for the Participation indicator it can be concluded that it is quite good, and for the indicator of the rule of law it is not good. Several inhibiting factors in the governance of landslide disaster management in Indragiri Hilir Regency are the absence of regulations specifically for disaster management issued by the Regional Government and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Indragiri Hilir Regency, as well as providing good and sufficient facilities and infrastructure.
