Abstract

Mental health is often considered a trivial thing or lacks attention from some parties. A healthy mental condition is one of the keys to maintaining a healthy body as well as a way to avoid various diseases. Mental health disorder is one of the syndromes or psychological behavior patterns of a person that will cause an inability to do work. The group most vulnerable to mental health disorders is teenagers. The method used in making this system is the certainty factor method. A method that gives space to an expert in giving confidence value to the knowledge disclosed, a method to prove whether a fact is certain or uncertain. This method is very suitable for expert systems that diagnose something that is not certain. This system is designed to diagnose schizophrenia, social phobia, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, depressive disorder, insomnia disorder, and panic attacks. This expert system can make it easier for psychiatrists to diagnose patients as a reference for accuracy and also make it easier for the general public, especially teenagers, to make an initial diagnosis of mental health disorders.
