Abstract

This study examines the Innovation of Integrated Population Service Information System Services at the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Office. The low number of online management shows the ineffectiveness of service innovations provided to the community. Many people still do not use the application to manage their population administration. Although innovations have been made, there are still many people who complain about the services from the Disdukcapil. This study aims to determine service innovations in the Integrated Population Service Information System (SIPENDUDUK) at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Pekanbaru City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. This research focus focuses on service innovation in the Population Integrated Service Information System (SIPENDUDUK) using the Muluk theory of Product Innovation Indicators, Process Innovation, Service Method Innovation, Strategy or Policy Innovation and System Innovation. The results of this study indicate that the SIPENDUDUK application designed by the Department of Population and Civil Registry of Pekanbaru City, the implementation of online-based services cannot be said to be efficient but can provide convenience to the community, improve the concept of ideal services and quality services and create effective and efficient services. In the time specified, the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Office in making the El KTP has not been fully in accordance with the correct time when submitting the application with the settlement of complaints, this cannot be said to be effective.
