Abstract

Bengkalis Regency is interesting to do because there are still problems including the unavailability of adequate facilities and infrastructure at the Ketapanag beach tourism object and not optimal involvement of all stakeholders, such as the involvement of the village government. , the private sector or business people and the community. This study aims to determine the management of tourism objects in Sungai Cingam Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. And what are the inhibiting factors in managing tourism objects in Sungai Cingam Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. The theory used in this research is George Terry. R (2008) and the indicators used in this study include Planning, Organizing, Acting, and Controlling. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach is a research method used to examine natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument, while the data collection technique is carried out by interview methods, the analysis is inductive, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The key informants in this study were the Head of Sungai Cingam Village and the informants were the Director of BUM Desa Cingam Jaya, Communities Around Tourism Objects and Entrepreneurs. Types and sources of data used, namely, primary data used interview techniques and secondary data using observation techniques. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher concludes that the Ketapang Beach Tourism Management in Sungai Cingam Village, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency has not been maximized or runs effectively and efficiently. The government's suggestion is to maximize planning to provide a budget and also to build road access to the Ketapang beach tourist attraction in Sungai Cingam Village.
