Abstract

Theft is the act of illegally taking other people’s goods without the owner’s permission. The thefts carried out by teenagers in the Muara Lembu village are often carried out by teenagers who take goods, residents’ fruits, electronic goods, livestock, kitchen utensils, and many more. This study aims to obtain views, opinions, responses to public reactions to teenagers who commit theft which has disturbed the people of Muara Lembu village. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research by conducting interviews with Kay informants and informants. The results of this study indicate that there is still a lack of supervision from parents and the community towards adolescents who commit violations, especially stealing, and teenagers who lack awareness and awareness of adolescents themselves.
