Abstract

This study aims to find out how the quality of visiting services at the Class IIA Pekanbaru prison during the Covid-19 pandemic and what are the obstacles to visiting services at the Class IIA Pekanbaru prison during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is located in Class IIA Pekanbaru prison on Penitentiary Street No. 19, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods, namely research that seeks to describe the subject and object under study in accordance with what they are, as well as explaining the variables and indicators. The results of the study on the quality of visitation services in Correctional Institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Class IIA Pekanbaru prison were analyzed by 5 indicators, namely tangibles (physical evidence), Realibility (reliability), Responsiveness (responsiveness), Assurance (guarantee and certainty) and Empathy (empathy). ). The data analysis technique used is the theory of Zeithaml, Parasuraman, Berry. Based on this analytical technique, the researchers assessed and concluded that the quality of visiting services at the Class IIA Pekanbaru prison had been carried out well. However, there are several inhibiting factors, namely the unstable network quality and the lack of facilities such as tablets that make WBP less interested in making this video call visit service.
