Abstract

This study's objectives were to assess the accountability and transparency of village financial management in Rantau Bertuah Village, Minas District, Siak Regency, as well as the applicability of village financial management under Permendagri No. 20 of 2018. In this study, a qualitative method is used with a descriptive research technique. Interviews are used for data collecting, observation, and documentation. The study's findings indicate that the administration's implementation of accountability is not fully appropriate when records are not closed at the end of each month, and that in terms of reporting and accountability, semester reports are not fully accountable and are not fully in compliance with Permendagri No. 20 of 2018. The implementation of transparency has not been totally transparent, particularly in the accessibility of information, and Permendagri no. 20 of 2018 still contains inconsistencies.
