Abstract
Health workers are a profession that plays a very important role in dealing with covid cases and has a high potential to experience burnout and high stress. If health workers experience burnout, their mental health will be disrupted, affecting their performance and behavior in providing daily health services. This study aims to determine the effect of Burnout on the mental health of health workers in the city of Pekanbaru after the Covid-19 pandemic ended. In this study researchers used quantitative methods. The number of samples in this study amounted to 121 health workers. And using the Purposive Sampling method. Data collection tools for independent variables were measured using the Burnout Inventory-Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS) from Maslach, totaling 38 items, while the dependent variable for mental health was measured using a Likert scale compiled by Viet and Ware based on the aspects of Psychological Distress and Psychological Well-Being . The data processing technique uses the SmartPLS program to obtain the result that there is an influence between Burnout and the mental health experienced by health workers after the Covid-19 pandemic with a T Statistics score of 6.154 on psychological Distress and a value of 6.403 on psychological Well-Being.
