Abstract

This research was conducted to know the mechanism about sharing profit of coconut plantation farmers with the owner at Tanjung Raja Village Kateman Sub district Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research used field research where this research conducted directly and interaction toward research object. In analyzing, researcher used descriptive qualitative. Research object was in Tanjung Raja Village Kateman Sub district Indragiri Hilir Regency. Data collection technique used interview, and documentation. Based on research findings, it was found that the mechanism about sharing profit of coconut plantation farmer with the owner at Tanjung Raja Village Kateman Sub district Indragiri Hilir Regency was done in form of kinship and belief between parties, and the sharing profit system was musaqoh. Research finding showed that: the agreement was a spoken agreement, sharing profit system in 60%:40%. The agreement method was a spoken agreement and without witness. The sharing profit agreement time did not appointed by parties. The musaqoh sharing profit system practice that was done at Tanjung Raja Village Kateman Sub district Indragiri Hilir Regency according to Islamic law had been suitable but they did not apply written agreement and without witness when the deal between owner and farmer happened.
