Abstract

This research was motivated by akidah akhlak teacher’s effort in developing students’ akhlakul karimah at Islamic senior high school 1 Rokan Hilir, in order to make students had good akhlak (moral)because akhlakul karimah was a success key in education field and could bring positive impact such as having good attitude to others, and building polite habitual in easy way. The purpose in this research examined to explain what effort to develop akhlakul karimah to students. This study would give contribution to literature about the development science unique and could be reference to schools with maximum and excellent score. Research formula questioned about how was the akidah akhlak teacher’s effort in developing students’ akhlakuk karimah at Islamic senior high school 1 Rokan Hilir. The object in this research was akhlakul karimah, the method used qualitative method and case study approach. The main informant was akidah akhlak teacher and supporting informant was Ria Hadian Pranata. Data collection technique used interview. Data computation technique and data analysis used in qualitative data was data reduction, display data, drawing conclusion. This research finding: remembering students with Allah Firman about honesty in Al-Qur’an, Accustom students to behave and speak honesty, Explain to students about Rasul’s character about Sidiq, developing forgiving character by telling prophet story, teacher as a forgiving model, remembering Allah Firman about patient characterin Al-Qur’an also Hadith about patient people, explaining Al-Qur’an about trust and telling Rasulullah story, accustom students to have trust character, giving understanding about qana’ah character, teacher taught students to be grateful and conducted spiritual activity.
