Abstract

The background of the problem in this research explained where some students got low learning achievement. It coukd be seen from some students did not pay attention in following lesson, besides, some students were lazy in doing task. Then, some of them were bored in studying. This research focused on the effort to improve learning achievement especially in Islamic education lesson. The purpose in this research explained about how PAI teacher’s effort in improving students’ learning achievement at MI Tahfizh Makkah. Knowing the obstacles that was faced by PAI teachers in improving students’ learning achievement at MI Tahfizh Makkah. The subject in this research was PAI teacher at MI Tahfizh Makkah. Meanwhile, the object in this research was the effort of Islamic education lesson teachers in improving students’ learning achievement at MI Tahfizh Makkah. Data collection in this research used observation, interview, and documentation. this research finding showed that from seven research questions about Islamic education lesson teacher’s effort in improving students’ learning achievement could concluded as follows; giving example; giving advice, enforced discipline, habituationg; giving motivation and encouragement; and implemented suitable method; developing insight; always repeated lesson; having good aqlak.
