Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of students’ discipline at school environment. Research formulation in this research questioned about was there any influence of school environment on students’ class VII discipline at Islamic Junior High School Fadhilah Pekanbaru. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of school environment on students’ class VII discipline at Islamic Junior High School Fadhilah Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative research with correlational design that connected two variables. The subject in this research was students at Islamic Junior High School Fadhilah Pekanbaru. The population involved 120 students and the sample took 93 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation with likert scale. Based on hypothesis test result with significant score 0.000 < 0.05, it could be concluded that the hypothesis showed there was any influence of school environment on students’ discipline at Islamic Junior High School Fadhilah Pekanbaru. The influence could be seen from summary table with R square score in 0.794 or 79.4%. It showed that students’ discipline was influenced by school environment in 79.4% in strong category. It could be concluded based on research finding that there was any influence of school environment on students’ discipline at Islamic Junior High School Fadhilah Pekanbaru.
