Abstract

A research has been conducted with the title "Growth of Chlorella sp. In a Medium of Bean Sprouts Extract with Different Doses". The research was experimental using a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments, namely different doses of 55 ml / L, 60 ml / L, 65 ml / L, 70 ml / L, and 75 ml / L. The highest cell density (19,050,000 cells / ml) on day 14 occurred in the treatment medium with a dose of 60 ml / L bean sprouts extract. The lowest cell density (13,083,333 cells / ml) on the 16th day occurred in the treatment medium with a dose of 75 ml / L bean sprouts extract. Biomass of Chlorella sp. is P1 (0.64 g), P2 (1.19 g / L), P3 (0.86 g / L), P4 (0.70 g / L), and P5 (0.49 g / L). L). The results of water quality measurements during the research were temperature 27-29oC, pH 5-7, Nitrogen (47.27 mg / L), Phosphate (1.73 mg / L), Potassium (-2.6325 ppm). The results of the Anava test in this research showed that the value of Fcount (5.42)> Ftable 0.05 (3.48), so giving different doses of bean sprouts extract showed that there was a significant effect on the growth of Chlorella sp.
