Abstract

This study discusses the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Duties of the General Elections Supervisory Board in Enforcement of Election Violations of the Siak Regency Regional People's Representative Council. The purpose of this study was to find out to find out the implementation of the duties of the Bawaslu of Siak Regency in the Enforcement of the Election of the Regional People's Representative Council of Siak Regency and to find out the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the duties of Bawaslu in the Enforcement of Election Violations of the Regional People's Representative Council of Siak Regency. The object of this research is the Bawaslu of Siak Regency. The theory used is the theory of evaluation according to William N. Dunn. The type of research conducted is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were collected and analyzed through documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that in order to reduce these symptoms, the General Elections Supervisory Body must be able to build a strong, independent and solid institution for the election supervisory apparatus. Strengthening a structured, systematic, integrative monitoring system that is accurate and transparent. The suggestion from the author is that the Bawaslu of Siak Regency continues to strive to maximize its professionalism as an institution authorized to carry out supervision, especially in dealing with future elections.
