Abstract
This dance was made for the 2018 Dance Parade event which was lifted from the tradition of eating with the people of Rokan Hulu. In this study the author uses Soedarsono's theory (1977:40), which says that dance has several elements, including: theme, motion, music, floor design, property, dynamics, staging, make-up, and costumes. elements of the Makan Bukacah dance at the Balai Proco Art House Studio, Riau Province. The variety of movements in the Makan Bukacah dance rests on the lenggang and also the flowers of the Rokan Hulu silat, with the theme "Cultural Procession". The dynamics in this dance are slow, medium, and fast. The lighting in this dance is white, blue, green, purple, and red. The make-up uses stage make-up according to the theme and character of the dancers and wears Malay costumes, such as the Malay brackets shirt, shawl and black cap. The performance was indoor in the form of a Procenium stage, because the Indrus Tintin Art Pavilion, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to find out what elements are in the Makan Bukacah dance at the Balai Proco Art House Studio, Riau Province. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The types and sources of data obtained through primary data secondary data Data collection techniques with non-participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation.
