Abstract
Diversion is a diversion of the settlement of cases of children suspected of criminal acts which are formal crimes to peaceful settlement between the suspect or defendant or a criminal act and the victim facilitated by the family and / or community, community counselors, police, prosecutors or judges. This is the basis for the Sukajadi Sector Police to implement diversion efforts in solving crimes committed by children. The main problem in this research is how is the implementation of Diversion of robbery committed by children at the Sukajadi Police and what are the inhibiting factors for the implementation of diversion against robbery committed by children at the Sukajadi Police. This type of research is observational research (observational research), namely by direct field survey, with data collection tools, namely interviews. Viewed from the point of view of its nature, this research is descriptive in nature, namely to provide data as accurate as possible about humans and other symptoms. The result of the research obtained is that the implementation of diversion of robbery committed by children at the Sukajadi Police has been carried out in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, but the settlement of robbery committed by children through diversion efforts has not been effective because of the low number of diversions carried out. by Sukajadi Police Investigators. The inhibiting factor for the implementation of Diversion towards criminal acts committed by children at the Sukajadi Police, which sometimes from the victim or family is not a victim of peaceful settlement by means of the diversion method through the restorative justice approach or by means, the ability of investigators who carry out diversions is still qualified so that it is not an agreement can be reached for peace and facilities and infrastructure for handling criminal acts committed by children are inadequate.
