Abstract
Fear of success is a fear that exists in individuals in developing their achievements and utilizing their abilities. This study aims to describe the fear of success of career women in the city of Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were 270 career women who worked at the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province. The data collection method used simple random sampling technique and the data were collected using a questionnaire containing a scale of fear of success which consists of 23 items. The analysis in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the analysis, it is known that the fear of success in career women at the Regional Secretariat of Riau Province is in the medium category in general. Meanwhile, there is no difference in fear of success based on latest education, type of work and marital status. However, there are significant differences based on the type of position and age level.
