Abstract

This type of research is a quantitative correlation research. This research is in the background behind by the low student learning outcomes. Focus problem on research Is there any effect of giving rewards on class student learning outcomes? VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanjung Kuyo Village, Pangkalan Lesung District Riau Pelalawan. This study aims to determine the effect of giving reward for the learning outcomes of class VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanjung Village Kuyo, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan, Riau. Subjects used in This research is all students of class VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanjung . Village Kuyo, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan, Riau. The population of this study is class VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum totaling 40 students. This research consists of of two variables, namely Reward Giving (variable X) and Cognitive Learning Outcomes (variable Y). The results showed that there was an effect of giving reward for the learning outcomes of class VIII students. This can be seen from the results data processing using IBM SPSS statistics 26 for windows that regression In simple terms, the significance value is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. So The research hypothesis is that there is an effect of giving rewards on student learning outcomes MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanjung Kuyo Village Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District Riau, is accepted. The magnitude of the level of influence between Rewards (variable X) has a contribution of 36.8% to Cognitive Learning Outcomes (variable Y) while 61.2% of Cognitive Learning Outcomes are influenced by other variables that are not researched. This means that the effect of Reward Giving on Cognitive Learning Outcomes Class VIII students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanjung Kuyo Village, Pangkalan District Riau Pelalawan Dimples with "Low" Category.
